My Thoughts & Impressions
– Pixi Beauty Makeup Range Focus & Review; firstly, I love that this entire makeup range is cruelty-free, affordable and gentle on all skin-types. I love the variety of categories this range has and how well each product performs. I really love the eyelet max eyeshadow in the shade ‘Chiffon’, it’s such a gorgeous colour and it has a lovely finish. It only requires one layer to create a beautiful eye look too. The rose lip nourisher is a lovely hydrating lip balm to treat the lips all whilst wearing a lovely natural tint lip colour, it sort of combines with your natural lip colour, so cool! The silky eye pen is very smooth and glides on my skin so easily, it’s very pigmented and can be easily sharpened, I quite like it. I am also enjoying the quartette nuance honey nectar palette, I think it’s the most gorgeous colours for my own skin tone and its perfect for creating cute subtle or glam look. The primer gives a luminous glow to the skin however I don’t tend to personally wear primer under my foundation anymore so I’ll keep it for special occasions or looks. The mascara is very gentle on the eyes, skin, and gave a lot of volume with a couple of layers. I also really enjoyed how long it lasts on the lashes, I wear it for 5+ hours with no issues. A huge thing I love about the whole range is how well performing they’re, how affordable they’re and the fact that they’re cruelty free. I’m enjoying using this range and can easily say that along with the skincare products Pixi Beauty have on offer, that the brand is in my Top 5 favourite brands, overall. This concludes my review and I hope each and everyone of you manage to check out Pixi Beauty at some stage and also see how amazing it is.

Benefit Cosmetics Primer, Brow Setter, Brow Pencil & Brow Brush Range – January 2023

Introducing some new arrivals from one of my all-time faves; Benefit Cosmetics. These goodies arrived recently to my desk and I took no time waiting to pop them in my makeup bag, I frequently use the 24-hr brow setter gel and have incorporated the Gimme Brow + Volumising Pencil into my makeup routine on some mornings. Featuring The POREfessional Lite Primer 7.5ml, 24-hr Brow Setter 3.5ml and the Gimme Brow + Volumising Pencil 1.9g and the Dual-Ended Angled Eyebrow Brush. Take a closer look at the products below..

Product, Packaging & Texture
– Benefit Cosmetics Gimme Brow + Volumising Pencil 1.9g; this is a newbie to the Benefit Cosmetics brow pencil range, it is a pointed-tip (like a regular sharpened pencil tip is), however this is a volumising brow pencil that enables you to not only outline, but also fill-in the brows. It is infused with fibres and powder; the first of its kind, with silk cotton tree fibres that adhere to the skin and hair to volumise and fill-in. Providing a natural look of texture and fullness to the brows, that is 12hr long wear, transfer proof, waterproof, weightless, mess-free and comes available in up to 11 shades!

– Benefit Cosmetics 24-hr Brow Setter 3.5ml; this formula is outstanding! It never leaves your brow hairs feeling stiff or crunchy, nor flakey. It can be used to shape, tame the brows, as well as locking in the makeup on the brows. It has 24-hr staying power, is quick to dry, sets each brow hair in the right place and the sturdy wand tip brush is so easy to use, to comb the setter throughout each part. The dual-ended applicator also evenly coats, too. You can even achieve a brow lamination look and a feathered look using it, too. So handy, right?!

– Benefit Cosmetics The POREfessional Lite Primer 7.5ml; this lite primer is 73% water based and has pore-minimising powders. It is lightweight, blends into a natural finish, blurs pores appearance and translucent on skin. It is also gentle, non-comedogenic, fragrance-free and feels breathable on the skin. It has a cooling sensation, that is refreshing as well. It can be easily applied using just your clean fingertips over your face, and worn either on its own or underneath a face full of makeup, you can do either with it as sometimes you may just like to blue pores for a no-makeup makeup day. The squeeze tube it is packaged in is colourful and pretty, and holds a total net weight of 7.5mls of product.

– Benefit Cosmetics Dual-Ended Angled Eyebrow Brush; a custom spool-brush that is firm, thin and angled to allow for a perfect defined application on the eyebrows. It is wonderful for applying pomades, powders and waxes! It blends seamlessly and allows to achieve a precise application with great definition. Perfect for getting the right edging and filling too. It features a silky synthetic fibre brush at a steep angle for controlled application. There is a grip near the barrel allows the user to hold it with complete control, making it extra easy to use.

My Thoughts & Impressions
– Benefit Cosmetics Primer, Brow Setter, Brow Pencil & Brush Range; my fave products of the four would have to be the 24-hr brow setter, the dual ended angled eyebrow brush and the gimme brow + volumising pencil. The 24-hr brow setter is a holy grail go-to of mine for any full or minimal makeup look! It never fails me, always does the trick, never feels crunchy or stiff, yet holds the brow hairs in place extremely well. The angled eyebrow brush is great for using with my foolproof brow powder, it gives a defined edge and filling. The gimme brow volumising pencil really does adhere natural looking fibres to the brow hairs, and it fills the brow in nicely, I use it when I’m in a hurry, its pretty quick & easy to apply. I would recommend these products to anybody. I like the lightweight feel of the lite primer when it is on, however I don’t wear primer too much as it is by personal preference to wear foundation without it so I don’t find myself getting as much use out of it. All the same, it is a nice texture and blends quite well. That concludes my blog post today, I hope you’ve enjoyed reading about the above Benefit Cosmetic products and learning about my experiences using them all. Thank you, have a great week ahead.

Charlotte Tilbury K.I.S.S.I.N.G Matte Revolution Lipstick 3.5g – November 2022

Introducing the new Matte Revolution formulated lipstick from the ever so popular, Charlotte Tilbury. This gem marks the second lipstick from CT, that I own. It is also the second matte lipstick I now have in my collection from the range and I can see myself getting more in the future, after I’ve used up the two I have. This particular one I am focusing on today is the shade ‘Wedding Belles‘, a deep muted mauve-pink. The first ever shade I purchased, was of course, the ‘Pillowtalk’ matte one. Let’s take a much closer look at this new long-lasting formula from Charlotte Tilbury.

Product, Packaging & Texture
– Charlotte Tilbury K.I.S.S.I.N.G Matte Revolution Long-Lasting Lipstick in ‘Wedding Belles’ 3.5g; now I have always been a fan of a hydrating matte lipstick, when I think of them, I always think of those that I’ve discovered already like Bobbi Brown Cosmetics luxe defining lipsticks and lip tints. Now I have discovered yet another fave, the newly formulated matte revolution formula from Charlotte Tilbury! This is the shade Wedding Belles and it comes in a net weight size of 3.5 grams, a perfect amount that will last a while. Described as a hydrating, 3D high pigmented lipstick, with a lasting longevity of 10hrs. It infuses safflower seed oil, papaya extract for a smooth glide-on application, that keeps the lips hydrated while wearing. It also comes in refillable bullet tubing, so you can grab a replacement and just slide it into the case. The lipsticks from CT also have a squared tip mimicking a lip brush, for perfecting precise application on the edges and contours of the lip. Wedding Belles is a warm-toned muted deep mauve-pink with a satin matte finish. It comes in a gorgeous rose-gold bullet lipstick design casing with sparkly diamond-like detailing embedded into the lid and body of the packaging. Take a closer detailed look below.

My Thoughts & Impressions
– Charlotte Tilbury K.I.S.S.I.N.G Matte Revolution Long-Lasting Lipstick in ‘Wedding Belles’ 3.5g; I love how creamy and satin-y the formula of this matte lipstick is, not to mention the gorgeous opaque pigmentation from the colour. It really has that one-swipe, glide on application and the squared tip helps to do the edges. I have enjoyed how it wears on the lips and how long it lasts too, I wore it for 5hrs total without any touch-ups, I haven’t yet tried it whilst eating but that will be my next test. I really like the natural deep muted pink tone this lipstick has, its perfect for any occasion but especially a nice dinner date/outing. I can already see myself picking up further shades from the same range after I use up this one and I would likely get a back up of this shade too. So that begs the question, would I repurchase? the answer is, yes. I would repurchase and re-stock this shade, the formula is creamy smooth and it wears pretty well on the lips.

Paco Rabanne FAME Eau De Parfum 10ml – October 2022

Introducing the fragrance release with Elle Fanning as the face, the FAME eau de parfum from the popular, Paco Rabanne. As quoted in the campaign; Empowering, enchanting, sensual, playful and irresistibly Parisian. She’s an icon. She’s a star. She’s FAME. A new covetable feminine fragrance that is embodied by a true star, the young American actor Elle Fanning. The FAME woman is the very essence of Paco Rabanne’s femininity. Radiant, self-confident, and multi-faceted as the Couturier’s iconic muses. I was lucky enough to receive this gorgeous scent to my desk for a couple of reviews and I’m so glad I have now discovered how pretty this perfume is. Let’s take a closer look at this new release from Paco Rabanne.

Product, Packaging & Texture
– Paco Rabanne FAME Eau De Parfum 10ml; the new empowering, enchanting and irresistibly Parisian fragrance from Paco Rabanne. Described as; sensual, playful. She’s an icon. She’s a star. She’s FAME. A new covetable feminine eau de parfum that is embodied by a true star. The young American actress Elle Fanning serves as the face of the campaign. The FAME woman is the very essence of Paco Rabanne’s femininity. Radiant, self-confident, and multi-faceted as the couturier’s iconic muses. With the top notes being; succulent mango and bergamot, middle notes of pure jasmine and olibanum, and base notes of vanilla and sandalwood. It is also described as having woody, floral and musk accords. I would say it starts of tropical with a hint of vanilla, then settles into a white floral with creamy incense. This particular travel size I have is 10ml, however the parfum comes in a full size range of 50ml or 80ml. There is a golden hue in the liquid of the fragrance and comes in a travel size 10ml glass tube with golden font and clip on lid. The full size bottles are very extravagant, just like FAME is. The packaging has a black and gold lid, with a golden base, the bottle itself has silver circles with golden tips patterned and layered down the neck and body of the bottle, with another golden base at the bottom, it is very avant-garde. If you’d like to see it, including the campaign promotional shots, take a look below.

My Thoughts & Impressions
– Paco Rabanne FAME Eau De Parfum 10ml; recently arrived to my desk, was this gorgeous travel size fragrance from Paco Rabanne, and I’ve been using it since. I was immediately impressed because I love creamy gourmand, incense, musk accorded scents and this is right up that alley. It opens with a delicious tropical note which has a touch of vanilla (I love it), then it kind of settles with a white floral, bergamot, sandalwood and musk creamy incense. It’s a very pretty fragrance, perfectly suited to any occasion, day or night. I have thoroughly enjoyed it and have been wearing it on a continual basis in my small rotation, that has become my favourite group of fragrances. I have the 10ml and its perfect to take on-the-go with me, it fits in my handbag easily and even my smaller shoulder bag. I can take it on trips with me as well, I highly recommend this gem, there is a reason it has become so popular everywhere. Would I repurchase? it is a very definite yes! I would spend the $162 on a 50ml full size for sure! I can see it going directly into my full size collection with no second thoughts, plus the full size bottles last such a longer time. I am one of those perfume people who wear a fragrance every day.
